We served this delicious hot dip last week at an event held at the Boulevard Brewery in Kansas City. We used their Golden Ale and it worked perfectly to make the most amazing dairy-free cheeze dip we have ever tasted. Now you can recreate this dip and it's as easy as Sunday morning. Try it and let us know what you think!
1 10 ounce tub of Barefood'n Happy Original Cheezy Cashew Cheeze
1 Tablespoon stone ground mustard
1 can of Boulevard Kolsch Golden Ale or similar type beer
Almond milk (optional)
sliced green onions or fresh chives (optional)
In a medium saucepan on medium to high heat, pour the entire can of beer. Bring to a boil and then turn down heat and simmer until beer is reduced by half. Watch carefully because beer will foam up quickly. Turn heat down to low and add entire carton of cheeze and mustard. Stir until smooth and creamy. If a thinner consistency is desired you can stir in a bit of almond milk to thin. Transfer to a small crockpot to keep warm and serve. ENJOY!
